Natural Gas: No
refilling required. Just switch on and switch off. Natural gas is the most common gas
fire installation that we deliver. It is also the most environmentally-friendly and
cleanest gas when compared to other methods.
Vented - With
this gas fire, the air needed for combustion comes in from outside through pipes
connected to a vent. Gases are also vented out of the house through pipes that can go
through the roof (chimney) or through a wall close to the fireplace
location.
Unvented -
Combustion is facilitated with air from inside the house. Gas logs are used to fuel the
fire. Local authority approval may be required with this gas fire, and once it’s
obtained, we can crack on with the installation.
Propane Gas -
This gas naturally has a higher degree of carbon. As a result, it can burn much more
hotter when compared to natural gas. Bear in mind that propane requires occasional
refilling.
